Fortia Minerals offers a wide range of coke used in the steel manufacturing process. Our superior logistics network allows us to economically export the metallurgical coal we obtain from Cundinamarca and Boyacá. We also source PCI coal from Colombia.
Our coking coal averages 10% ash, 0.8% sulfur, >7 FSI and 28% volatile matter.
Our washing plant can reduce ash to 7% upon special request.
A typical analysis for our PCI coal is 7% ash, 0.75% sulfur, 34% volatile matter and 50 HGI.
